2021 Annual General Meeting

Due to the current alert levels and potential timeframes, we have made the decision to move the AGM online for the second year.

While we would have loved to have been able to bring this live event to our Canterbury members, holding it online has the benefit of being accessible to all members, regardless of location around the country. In light of the current COVID situation facing the country, we also feel this is a good way for us all to be able to attend the AGM with confidence.

We would love to see you at the virtual event.

Thursday 23 September 2021

AGM Starts: 7.30pm

Online via Zoom

The panel discussion will no longer be part of the AGM. This will be rescheduled later in the year.

Stay safe and well - noho ora, kia ora,

Rules and objects

The Neurological Foundation of New Zealand is proposing two small changes to its Rules and Objects document.

The first of the changes is to Clause 8.6 (a), (b) and addition of 8.6 (c), related to the Term of Appointment for Council members.  Changes are to allow for the appointed Chair and Deputy Chair to serve a full term in their respective roles.

Second change is to Clause 10.5, to allow membership to be for 12 months from payment of the fee, moving away from the fixed period from 1st April to 31st March regardless of when the membership fee is paid.
