We’ve got some exciting news, after months of uncertainty about events and when we can start hosting them safely again, we finally have a date! Starting in September 2020 we will be moving forward with hosting in-person events around the country.
We are still confirming the schedule with the speakers, but some of the cancelled events from March will be rescheduled for September or October, so watch this space for more on when those dates will be confirmed!
We are also in the midst of planning a new digital event series called Discovery Sessions, which will start to roll out in August 2020. These events will be hosted online, with a researcher we have funded who will be talking about the brain and how their research ties into advancing our knowledge of the brain and neurological diseases. The great thing about these events is that anyone can register no matter where you are in New Zealand, as they’ll be hosted digitally! We’ll have more information in the coming month about how to register for these sessions and when they will be starting.
Due to COVID-19 and the health and safety measures now in place about contact tracing at all public gatherings, we will require a couple of things from our supporters wanting to attend our in-person events come September and October.
We are so excited to be able to announce the start of our event series again, and are overjoyed to be so close to seeing everyone out in the community again!
If you have any questions about our events which have not be covered here, please feel free to email the events team at events@neurological.org.nz or call us at 0508 272 467 ext. 3
