My main goal in life is to help and understand people. Knowing that I can positively impact their lives and contribute to their happiness and safety motivates me to get up every morning. My favourite subject at school is science. I love learning about the world around us, especially about the human body.
I was so excited when I found out that I was going to attend the neuroscience internship day and it was truly such an amazing experience. Visiting the labs and seeing how a neuroscientist spends their day is one of the most interesting careers I have seen. I especially loved the anatomy museum – it was so cool to see all the parts of the body and the brain. I’d like to thank the Neurological Foundation supporters for contributing towards the Brain Bee and giving opportunities like this to people like me.
I hope to be a surgeon, ideally a neurosurgeon (fingers crossed). I’m fascinated by the brain, how it functions and how different factors influence and shape our daily lives. I believe that the gift of life is the most valuable thing in the world, and I’m passionate about helping people to preserve that gift.
What amazes me most about the brain is that despite living in the same world, we all perceive it differently. Understanding these diverse perceptions is something I would love to explore further.
