Parkinson’s is the world’s fastest-growing neurological condition. Are environmental factors to blame? If so, what are they? How can people with Parkinson’s slow the disease’s progress, at the same time as researchers strive for breakthroughs in prevention?
Join brilliant Dutch neurologist Professor Bas Bloem as he discusses a holistic approach to medicine that aims to empower people with Parkinson’s disease to achieve a better quality of life. This event is made possible through the partnership of Parkinson's New Zealand. In celebration of its 40th anniversary, Parkinson's New Zealand is organizing a Living Positively with Parkinson's roadshow across the country. The event will feature distinguished neurologists from around the world, including our guest speaker, Professor Bas Bloem.
