Ken Walks Aoteoroa

In November 2016 Ken retired at the age of 76 and started a 3002km walk/hike along the Aotearoa Trail as a fundraiser for the New Zealand Neurological Foundation.

The motivation for this has several strands: firstly his wife was diagnosed some years ago with Multiple Sclerosis. In addition his mother developed Alzheimer's, plus a couple of his workmates recently had strokes.

Most people have loved ones who have suffered from neurological conditions.

Ken has recently (May 2017) completed walking the entire North Island – WOW!  Thank you so much for your dedication.
