Your donation to fund neurological research gives hope to thousands of New Zealanders living with a neurological disorder or disease.

For 40 years, with the support of people like you, the Neurological Foundation has funded the best brain research, scientists and clinicians in New Zealand. During this time, we have established the Neurological Foundation Human Brain Bank, the Neurological Foundation Chair of Clinical Neurology, the Neurological Foundation Chair in Neurosurgery and funded pioneering work in almost every neurology or neurosurgery ward in the country, as well as supporting internationally peer-reviewed neuroscience research at our leading universities.

The Neurological Foundation is the only non-government organisation in New Zealand dedicated to funding neurological research, and 98% of our resources come from individual donations and bequests. One hundred per cent of these individual donations and bequests are used to help fund crucial New Zealand research into neurological disorders such as Alzheimer's and Huntington's diseases, stroke, cerebral palsy, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, autism and traumatic brain injury.

There are several ways you can donate now and support the world-class neurological research we fund:
